Day 37 Needs || Priestess ACIM Lesson
I’ve been thinking alot about nature! I want to share a post I shared on Instagram yesterday and the caption I wrote. I feel I expressed myself fullest there and hedged along the lesson from today in the course on needs.
Hack your stars!! ✨🌟⭐️ It’s true the only consistent in life is change but yesterday I realized another consistent... Earth 🥕🐇 her beautiful stability will forever lend a feeling that you know WELL I don’t have to describe it💚 it is v similar to the consistency of water and the peace we feel when around it🌊
We can gain what we lack by interacting with ALL of the elements tho (🔥💧🌿🌬)😌
So check out your chart and notice what you might have less of and get curious about what inviting that element into your space might feel and look like!🌈✨⚡️ okayyy Here’s a cheat sheet....😂👏🏼🤣👸🏼
Lacking.....
AIR: write more, practice communicating even when you don’t want too, speak up in rooms that make you nervous, study, learn, read REAL books, be insatiably curious, debate with a renewed understanding of the others POV, be as light as a feather and as colorful as one too, knowledge and words are your breath!!😉🦚
WATER: feel more, cry more, go to the ocean, lake, river, bath tub more, express your feelings, allow yourself to feel nurtured and nurture others (start w/ pets if that’s more comfortable), exude love and care, be a safe place to land, your tender heart, intuitive nature and serene presence is your channel🌙💧
EARTH: commit more, be still, practice schedules, to-do lists, being reliable, budgeting, have integrity, roll in the grass, touch the trees, feel the textures with your bare feet, be a non judgmental ear for a friend, serve others, imagine the deepest roots sprouting from your feet and toes and penetrating the earth- BE THE TREE🌳
FIRE: move more! Expand your mind, body, spirit through movement, workouts, studying, exchanging thoughts w/ others, adventuring, go somewhere totally unplanned- get in your car and drive, be forward, speak your mind unapologetically, light candles, sage, incense, camp fires, touch others, touch yourself, connect with your inner flame, your passion and practice breathing fire through humor 😉❤️ laughter is your flame

For me it’s all about laughing and touching myself rolling around in the grass😂😂🤣 not in a weird way just in like a I need fire x earth way 👸🏼💁🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️💆🏼♀️

Today’s study of A Course in Miracles took me to Chapter 1 “The Illusions of Needs”.
Needs arise only when you deprive yourself.
-A Course in Miracles
The idea of order of needs arose because, having made this fundamental error, you had already fragmented yourself into levels with different needs. As you integrate you become one, and your needs become one accordingly. Unified needs lead to unified action, because this produces a lack of conflict.

No learning is acquired by anyone unless he wants to learn it and believes in some way that he needs it.

Lack implies that you would be better off in a state somehow different from the one you are in. Until the “separation,” which is the meaning of the “fall,” nothing was lacking. There were no needs at all. Needs arise only when you deprive yourself.

A sense of separation from God is the only lack you really need correct. This sense of separation would never have arisen if you had not distorted your perception of truth, and had thus perceived yourself as lacking.

Ultimately, space is as meaningless as time. Both are merely beliefs.

The real purpose of this world is to use it to correct your unbelief. You can never control the effects of fear yourself, because you made fear, and you believe in what you made. In attitude, then, though not in content, you resemble your Creator, Who has perfect faith in His creations because He created them. Belief produces the acceptance of existence. That is why you can believe what no one else thinks is true. It is true for you because it was made by you.
